Landscaping is an art. Your canvass is your land while your brush is your bare hands and tools in tilling your land. Your color is the plants and shrubs that you plant in your canvas to grow the greens and the varied colors of flowers that will bloom from your plants. And if you paint your canvas well, many will come to admire them as much as yourself. Just like in painting, however, there are problems that you will encounter in landscaping. One of these is how to compliment well your landscaping and garden with your decks. If you know how, your decks will become an even more pleasant structure to see from the vantage point of your landscape and will create an awe inspiring sight of your garden and landscaped areas from the vantage point of your decks.

In making the connection with your decks and the landscaped garden, it would be better to create pathways with foot walks done in stones. Adding accessories like jungle lamps besides the pathways will be an added attraction to your place There are various design of flat stones used for pathways that would be adequate for this purpose. Another idea here would be doing your pathways in white beach sand. This idea of pathways done in white beach sands is fast catching up in most celebrity landscape residences. This white beach sand foot walk will be more enhanced with the use of jungle lamps placed along its side.

There are two concepts with regards to the treatment of decks in relation to its surrounding landscape garden. One favors the looming presence of the deck in contrast to the garden and another favors the continuity in making the deck as part of the whole landscaped garden. If you go by the first concept, then you have to plant trees and plants a distance away from your decks. Mostly low growing plants, and shrubs should be planted near your decks. This will enable your decks to be seen clearly from all angles or perspective of your landscaped garden. If you favor the other idea of making your deck as part of your garden, then you have to plant trees and plants more closely to your decks. Place plants in containers along the edges of your decks. Plants that bear colorful flowers should be chosen to add attraction to your decks. When fully grown, the greenery of your trees and plants together with the interspersed colors of flowers will surely make your decks part of the landscaped garden.
